Grève fémi­niste — Grève des femmes en Bel­gique ce 8 mars

Le Collecti.e.f 8 maars Bel­gique invite toutes les femmes* à par­ti­ci­per à la grève de femmes le pro­chain 8 mars 2020.

Les femmes sont vic­times de vio­lences sexistes, racistes et éco­no­miques. Elles sont agres­sées, bat­tues, vio­lées parce qu’elles sont femmes. Aus­si parce qu’elles sont musul­manes, parce qu’elles sont noires, parce qu’elles sont trans. Elles sont sous-repré­sen­tées dans les milieux poli­tiques, cultu­rels, spor­tifs, aca­dé­miques, etc. Par­tout dans le monde elles sont dis­cri­mi­nées. Elles vivent des situa­tions éco­no­miques plus pré­caires et gagnent, à métier égal, moins que leurs homo­logues mas­cu­lins. Elles assument la plu­part du tra­vail domes­tique et le soin des enfants, gra­tui­te­ment et de manière invisible.

Alors, le 8 mars 2020, jour­née inter­na­tio­nale de lutte pour les droits des femmes, met­tons le pays à l’arrêt en ces­sant mas­si­ve­ment de tra­vailler, de prendre soin, d’étudier et de consommer.

Vrou­wens­ta­king op 8 maart in heel België

In Bel­gië, zoals ove­ral ter wereld, zijn vrou­wen nog steeds slach­tof­fer van heel wat geweld : sek­sis­tisch, racis­tisch, eco­no­misch. Ze wor­den geïn­ti­mi­deerd, fysiek aan­ge­val­len en sek­sueel mis­bruikt. Omdat ze vrouw zijn. Maar ook omdat ze mos­li­ma zijn, niet blank, transgender,…

Vrou­wen zijn onder­ver­te­gen­woor­digd in de poli­tiek, in de cultu­rele, spor­tieve en aca­de­mische wereld. Nog steeds wor­den ze gedis­cri­mi­neerd, gelijk waar ter wereld. Vaak leven ze in eco­no­misch moei­lij­kere omstan­di­ghe­den, en ver­die­nen min­der voor het­zelfde werk als hun man­ne­lijke collega’s. Ze nemen nog steeds het grootste deel van het hui­shou­den voor hun reke­ning, alsook van de opvoe­ding. Hun onbe­taald werk wordt zel­den erkend.

Het Collecti.e.f 8 maars orga­ni­seert opnieuw een vrouwen*staking in Bel­gië op 8 maart 2020, Inter­na­tio­nale dag voor de rech­ten van de Vrouw, en werd hier­voor geïns­pi­reerd door de Spaanse vrou­wen. Zij leg­den hun land plat in maart 2018 door mas­saal te stop­pen met wer­ken, zor­gen, stu­de­ren en consumeren.

The Collecti.e.f 8 maars invites all women* in Bel­gium to par­ti­ci­pate in a nation-wide strike and pro­test on the next 8th March in 2020.

Women around the world are vic­tims of gen­der-based, racist and eco­no­mic vio­lence. They are assaul­ted, bea­ten and raped because they are women*. But also because they are Mus­lim, because they are black, because they are trans. They are under-repre­sen­ted in poli­ti­cal, cultu­ral, aca­de­mic, spor­ting and other circles. All over the world they are dis­cri­mi­na­ted. They live in more pre­ca­rious eco­no­mic situa­tions and earn less than their male coun­ter­parts in the same occu­pa­tion. They do the majo­ri­ty of the domes­tic work and child­care which is free of charge and invisibly.

The Collecti.e.f 8 maars orga­nizes a second women’s strike* in Bel­gium on 8th March 2020, the next Inter­na­tio­nal Day of Struggle for Women’s Rights. We are ins­pi­red in par­ti­cu­lar by the strike move­ment of the Spa­nish women, who stop­ped their coun­try in March 2018 by mas­si­ve­ly cea­sing to work, take care, stu­dy and consume.
